Adaptation & Mitigation are important to address together. One school of though is adaptation indicates that mitigation isn't working. However the impacts that humans have set in motion will have effects that are already noticeable. Adaptation planning aims to adjust budgets and landscaping, emergency plans and construction based on future modeling for water availability, increases ion severe weather events and temperature increases. This section has sample adaptation plans.
